07: SISSIES

No, this is not about ghosts or other unseen creatures. This is about the real tangible scary stuff!

I'm deathly afraid of roaches! Not those small baby ones fresh off their bitty black eggs, but those fully-grown creepy crawly crunchy ones, especially those with flying abilities. Kelvin has no fear of them, and he finds it funny how much I'm terrified of them roaches.

One time a flying monster landed on Kelvin; and I'm sorry, but I had no instinctive drive to protect my loved ones when it comes to these monsters - my only instinct was to run. Fast.

*ipis = cockroach = 蟑螂

Kelvin, though quick to scoff at my phobia, is scared of everything else. So let me end this with a few examples for you to enjoy! Ha!

Yes, it is rather unusual to be unafraid of rats.

But Kelvin even becomes a sissy with cute wittle lizards.

This is the best part - Kelvin is also scared of dogs and cats. Yes, even the small ones!

I have to give it to him though, he has partially conquered this fear with my side of the family's lap dog. He is now able to pet (but not carry) our tiny coton de tuléar - a victory!

PS. Do let me know if you like this type of "comic" format. I realize it's not a strip type, but I want to play with different styles to find something that I'd comfortably settle with in future entries.

06: YOUTUBE CHALLENGE

Kelvin hates me watching random videos in Youtube, mostly because I eat up all the bandwidth at home rendering him unable to use the internet properly. Bwahaha! But what can I do when my Youtube page is filled up with new videos from my subscriptions?! :-P

I, on the other hand, really find Kelvin's picky eating annoying! Hahaha! I swear you can't feed him anything new! Anyway, I've learned to use his weakness to my advantage many times so it doesn't bug me as much now.

You will probably notice that this strip is colored! Yaay! I'm not sure if I'm going to do this regularly though because it does take a lot of time to color the strips (even though the outcome looks so simple.)

As always, don't forget to "like" the strip if you do! It keeps me motivated. Hehe! :-)
